Metodologia

Foram usados 1000 pessoas para realizar os estudos dos pesquisadores.

Os cientistas pediram aos participantes que se avaliassem em uma série de qualidades que descreviam pessoas carismáticas.

Eles determinaram que o carisma se resume a dois fatores:

  • influência (a capacidade de liderança e a força da presença de uma pessoa)
  • afabilidade (a capacidade de ser agradável e acessível).

Uma curiosidade no meio dos estudos, foi a constatação que as pessoas costumam serem boas em auto avaliar seu carisma, e isso normalmente não se repete em outros comportamentos.

O que diferencia a pesquisa atual de outras sobre o carisma é que ela analisa esse traço na população geral – a maioria dos outros estudos tem focado no carisma em líderes.

Esta pesquisa também reduz o carisma a um conjunto menor de qualidades observáveis.
